Thursday, October 21, 2004: DEPART HOME CITY
  • Please check in at the airport a minimum of 90 minutes prior to flight departure time. Due to heightened security efforts at US Airports, passengers are reminded to allow enough time to complete check-in and screening procedures.
  • All passengers must present valid government issued photo identification that matches the printed name on their airline ticket.
  • Your airline ticket is not changeable, or refundable and valid only on the dates and times indicated.
  • For special meal, seating, frequent flyer miles, upgrades or any other requests, please contact the airline directly.
  • When packing, please remember that new Federal carry-on rules allow one standard-size carry-on bag and one personal item such as a purse, laptop computer, small book-type backpack or briefcase. If you are going to pack sharp objects such as scissors, knives or the like, be sure to place those in checked baggage. These items are not allowed in carry-ons. Additionally, the new Federal security rules require passengers who have checked baggage to fly on the same flight as their checked bags. Be sure your name and contact information are on the outside and the inside of each bag.

  • Please proceed to baggage claim and collect your luggage.
  • After retrieving your luggage, please look for the Discovery Channel representative holding a sign displaying the Discovery logo.
  • The Discovery Channel representative will direct you to the Daytona Beach Shuttle, which will transfer you to The Club at Hammock Beach.

  • Check-in time is at 3:00 PM. If you arrive early, the hotel will make every effort to have your room available. If your room is not ready upon arrival, you may store your bags with the bellman until scheduled check-in at 3:00 PM. Make sure you obtain a receipt for your checked baggage.
  • One (1) room has been reserved at The Club at Hammock Beach for three (3) nights under the contest winner's name. Discovery Channel has pre-paid the hotel inclusive of room and tax.
  • The hotel will ask for a major credit card imprint to cover incidental charges during your stay. Incidentals include items such as pay-per view movies, room service, mini bar items, telephone usage, etc. Remember that these items can be quite expensive. You should consult a hotel directory or a staff member for prices prior to using any of these amenities or services.
  • After you have checked in with the hotel's front desk, please stop by the American Chopper Hospitality Suite located in the Saint Augustine Room adjacent to the group check-in desk.
  • At this time you will be given your time confirmation for the VIP Speedway Tour.
  • The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy Hammock Beach. Please feel free to ask the Discovery Channel staff or the hotel concierge for any recommendations on what to do in beautiful Palm Coast.
Friday, October 22, 2004: DAY AT LEISURE
  • 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM Buffet breakfast at leisure.
  • Breakfast will be served in the hotel courtyard. Please look for the Discovery American Chopper sign in the courtyard.
  • Discovery Channel has set up round trip shuttle transfers to Daytona Beach for you to use at your leisure. Shuttles will run every hour on the hour.
  • Shuttles will run from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Should you want to stay after this time, you will be responsible for making your own arrangements back to The Club at Hammock Beach.
  • The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy Palm Coast as you wish.
  • 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Hospitality Suite open.
  • Please feel free to stop by the American Chopper Hospitality Suite located in the Saint Augustine Room adjacent to the group check-in desk. The Discovery Channel representatives will be able to answer any questions that you may have.
Saturday, October 23, 2004: VIP TOUR OF DAYTONA INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY
  • 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM Buffet breakfast at leisure.
  • Breakfast will be served in the hotel courtyard. Please look for the Discovery American Chopper sign in the courtyard.
  • Please refer to your time confirmation given to you upon check-in at the American Chopper Hospitality Suite.
  • Buses will depart directly outside The Club at Hammock Beach. Please meet in the lobby 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time. Your departure time is listed on your activity confirmation sheet.
  • If you have any questions please stop by the American Chopper Hospitality Suite located in the Saint Augustine Room adjacent to the group check-in desk. The Discovery Channel representatives will be able to answer any questions that you may have.
  • Following the tour and visit to Daytona USA, Discovery Channel has arranged for buses to be at the Quart of Flags to return you to the hotel, at your leisure.
  • For your return transfer, buses will run every hour on the hour starting at 2:00 PM.
  • The last bus will depart Daytona International Speedway at 8:00 PM. Should you want to stay after this time, you will be responsible for making your own arrangements back to The Club at Hammock Beach.
  • The remainder of the evening is yours to enjoy Hammock Beach. Please feel free to ask the Discovery staff or the hotels concierge for any recommendations on what to do in beautiful Palm Coast.
Sunday, October 24, 2004: HOTEL DEPARTURE
  • 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Hospitality Suite open.
  • Please feel free to stop by the American Chopper Hospitality Suite located in the Saint Augustine Room adjacent to the group check-in desk. The Discovery Channel representatives will be able to answer any questions that you may have.
  • Check-out time is 12:00 PM.
  • Complete check-out procedures with the hotel front desk. At this time you will settle any incidental charges that you may have incurred.
  • Please refer to the ground transportation confirmation you received in your travel documents for your departure time from the hotel.
